Why Choose Us

Patients and doctors alike choose the Surgery Center of Fort Collins because we have one of the finest surgical teams in the region.

Registered nurses provide care to patients throughout their perioperative experience including pre-op, the operating room, recovery room, and in some cases overnight care for 23 hour observation.  All RNs are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (ACLS), and all RNs who provide care in the recovery room and 23 hour observation are also Pediatric Advanced Life Support, (PALS), certified.

Staffing levels are based on national standards of care from professional nursing organizations including the Association of Operating Room Nurses, (AORN), and the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, (ASPAN).  In addition to maintaining licensure as an RN, many of our nurses are specialty certified through their respective organizations as well, exemplifying a commitment to excellence within their specialty.

All of our surgeons and anesthesiologists are board certified or board eligible.

Our medical director is a board certified full-time anesthesiologist.

The Surgery Center of Fort Collins is licensed by the State of Colorado State Department of Public Health and Environment, certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services  and accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care,  (AAAHC).
