SCFC PRICING
Health care pricing is extremely complex due to the fact that you are unique. No one else has your body with your specific needs for physical, mental, and emotional health. You also have unique financial and insurance coverage circumstances. We’re sharing base prices for some of our most common surgeries to help you anticipate what your bill from Surgery Center of Fort Collins (SCFC) may look like in the event you have a surgical procedure performed here, and to confirm that you are getting the best value for the price.
Our base prices do not reflect insurance coverage or prompt pay discounts. They do not include any implants that may be required with the procedure nor do they include the charges for care related to possible overnight stays, complications or exceptional treatment. The prices also do not include the fees charged by physicians working in Surgery Center of Fort Collins, such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists and pathologists. But they do help you determine what your maximum out-of-pocket expenses may look like, and give you a starting point for shopping for the best health care facility for your surgery.
Our Facility Fee includes the following standard items and services provided during your entire time at SCFC: specialized nursing care, x-rays, medical and surgical equipment and supplies, lab tests, medications.
If you are covered by health insurance, we encourage you to talk with your health insurance carrier to confirm your financial responsibility, which may vary depending upon your coverage and health care needs. Each insurance company and government payor (e.g., Medicare or Tricare) has a different negotiated fee schedule that may be different from our base price.
If you are not covered by health insurance, or if you have a high deductible plan or co-Insurance that is a percent of allowable charges, we recommend you contact us at (970) 494-4800 so we can help you estimate your financial responsibility and determine your payment options before arriving for surgery.
