Meet Our Team!
Brenda Cordle, Chief Executive Officer
Brenda is honored to hold the position of CEO (and head cheerleader!) of the Surgery Center of Fort Collins. With a passion for healing, Brenda’s favorite part about leading the Surgery Center team is brainstorming creative solutions that knock down barriers for physicians and staff so that they can focus completely on caring for patients. To relax after a busy week, she loves spending time with her husband, five children, three grandchildren and – of course – a very spoiled canine. She dreams of traveling to Dublin for a classic St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Sláinte!
Deb Z, Pre-Registration Nurse
Deb has been a Licensed Practical Nurse Pre-Op Screener with the Surgery Center since 2016. As a dedicated nurse, it’s no wonder that her superpower of choice would be acting as a guardian angel. When she is not caring for her many patients, you can find her relaxing in the comfort of her own home…or maybe jamming out to her go-to karaoke song, Brown Eyed Girl!
Lexy P, Pre-Operative and Recovery Nurse
Lexy has been part of the Surgery Center’s stellar team of Registered Nurses since 2016 and embraces all aspects of her job. She loves meeting new people and caring for surgery patients from start to finish, as well as collaborating with her fellow coworkers. In addition to her patients, her heart also belongs to her husband, Skylar, and two fur babies – a German shorthaired pointer, Carlos, and a calico kitty, Meeko. Outside of the office, you might find her sailing away with Skylar and Carlos to somewhere tropical!
Stacy K, Executive Support Analyst
Stacy has worked at the Surgery Center since 2015 as an Executive Support Analyst, where she uses her keen attention to detail to use data to tell stories. Her family consists of her husband and child, but she hopes it will grow to include adoptive children as well in the future. When she’s not at the Surgery Center, Stacy loves curling up with her family by the fireplace. Which famous person would she love to meet? The one and only Princess Diana!
Rachel D., Pre-Operative and Recovery Nurse
The Surgery Center has been lucky to have Rachel as one of its outstanding Registered Nurses since 2014. True to the Surgery Center’s vision, Rachel’s favorite part about her job is helping her surgery patients have the best experience possible from start to finish. To unwind outside of work, you can find her running, hiking and making memories with her husband and kids. If she could choose any superpower (besides being a stellar nurse, of course!), she would choose to fly…perhaps to a tropical beach where she could spend the day snorkeling!
Stacy S., Pre-Operative and Recovery Nurse
Since 2015, Stacy has been proud to be one of the Surgery Center’s PACU/Pre-Op Registered Nurses. Every day, she gets to know her patients and helps make a difficult time a little more pleasant. Away from work, Stacy loves hiking with her husband and baby girl and would love to visit Greece someday. If she could meet any famous person in the world, it would have to be the legendary singer, Celine Dion.
David S., Pre-Operative and Recovery Charge Nurse
David has been a part of the Surgery Center team since 2011. As a Pre-Op/PACU Charge RN and EMR Specialist, he gets to experience the ever-changing landscape of the medical field and the constant challenges it presents. Outside of the office, you can find David spending a relaxing weekend drinking a craft brew on his front porch, or maybe even planning to travel around Europe one day.
Bing P., Pre-Operative and Recovery Nurse
Bing has brought comfort to patients since 2012 as a Recovery Room RN. Her joy and kindness make a difference in her patients’ lives, and she loves caring for them in their times of need. She and her husband moved from California to Fort Collins 10 years ago with their two children, but she was actually born in the Philippines and hopes to visit again one day. Outside of work, Bing explores her crafty side through scrapbooking and creating beautiful displays of her family photos.
Shawna S., Medical Staff and Accounting Coordinator
Shawna is a longtime team member of the Surgery Center, beginning her position in 2002. She keeps the record straight as the Accounting, Credentialing and Accreditation Coordinator and enjoys the variety of duties she performs on a daily basis. A Colorado native, Shawna loves the mountains and would like to visit Switzerland one day. Her go-to karaoke song? RESPECT by the one and only Aretha!
Liz W., Scheduler and Insurance Verification Specialist
Since 2014, Liz has been the scheduler and insurance verification specialist at the Surgery Center. Her favorite parts about the job are interacting with her coworkers and all the different departments. A real animal lover, Liz and her husband have two dogs and three cats, who keep her busy for sure! If she could have any superpower in the world, she would use her powers for good and have endless healing powers.
Ann Sellenger, Director, Perioperative Services
Ann has spent 27 years in the nursing field, and we are so glad that she has chosen to spend the last decade with the Surgery Center. After working a few different positions, she accepted the role of director where she gets to live out her passion for taking care of people. If she could possess any superpower, it would be the ability to split herself in half…and we couldn’t agree more because two of Ann is exactly what the world needs!
Brandy M., Radiology Manager
Brandy has been manager of the radiology department since 2006 and loves the physicians and staff members she works with on a daily basis. As the queen of radiology, it’s no surprise that she would choose to have X-ray vision if she could have any superpower in the world! Outside of the workplace, she loves spending time with her husband, two kids and Beauceron puppy, or maybe just exploring her artistic side. You might be surprised to find out that she has a sculpture in front of the Loveland Museum!
Linda S., Pre-Operative and Recovery Nurse
A Surgery Center veteran, Linda has been with the team since 2000 as a PACU/Pre-Op RN. She loves meeting new people every day and helping them through their unique situations. Along with caring for patients, Linda enjoys everything related to American history, World War II and beyond. With her passion for the past, it’s no surprise that if she could meet any famous person, she would sit down and talk to Benjamin Franklin to hear about his vision for the United States.
Shannon R., Receptionist and Medical Records Clerk
Since 2012, Shannon has served as a patient registration specialist, medical records completion clerk and credentialing coordinator. Her dedication to to her job and vast range of skills make her an asset to the Surgery Center. Shannon’s commitment is deeply rooted in her Fort Collins ties. A former Ram, she even played for CSU’s rugby team for a couple of semesters. To relax after a work week, she might go on a baking spree or just relax with a good book.
Judy S., Business Office Manager
A Surgery Center veteran, Judy has been with the team since 1998 as the business office manager. She loves the people she interacts with every day and educating patients on the Surgery Center’s services. In fact, if she won the lottery, she would host free classes for the community to help people understand the benefits of choosing ambulatory surgery centers for operations. Away from the office, you can find Judy spending time with her husband just relaxing and watching movies.
